It’s no secret, I love watching and creating videos on Facebook and YouTube!

In this video, I’m going to share with you 7 cool ideas for creating Facebook videos. Since we all have great ideas, please share your cool video creation ideas in the comments below so that we can all learn more creative ideas from each other!

Let’s Dive Into Some Ideas For Marketing With Facebook Video!

Hey, it’s Gord here, welcome!  If it’s your first time here, and it’s your passion to make great videos, become a ninja at video editing, and learn more tips on how to succeed with video and marketing on YouTube, then make sure you hit the subscribe button and click that bell notification icon, so you don’t miss a thing!

I like to share some of my personal challenges and successes through questions or observations and see how others react to the situation or circumstances.  It’s an entertaining way to get engagement.

So, when I want to grab people’s attention right away, one of my go-to approaches is to put animated motion text in the video.

Are you losing too much valuable productivity time?

In this example, I used Kinetic Text Animator, one of my favorite tools for doing text animations. If you want to find out more, there’s a link in the description below. I’ll probably do another video on Kinetic Text Animator anyways.

Idea #2: Tell a story; share a lesson to connect with more people on Facebook with your video.

We all have stories to tell and this is a great way to connect with others and show the real you through your life experiences – good or bad. It’s a cool way to share life lessons. Of course, you don’t want to be known as a sad sack, so be sure to share mostly good news stories. In this example, notice how the background video scenes and sound have a great impact. This video works whether you turn the sound on or leave it off!

Idea #3: Share an inspirational or motivational quote so more people will engage with your Facebook Video Marketing.

Some quotes I like to share are too long for just the typical image post, and so I get creative through video. I may create a text animation that goes through multiple lines in the quote and combine the quote with a few different video scene backgrounds, and sound, that add another emotional dimension to the words.

Now, I know that this may seem excessive to some, but this is me, I’m a video creator and in my Facebook feed I get to be the artist if I want to.

I've been a little on the quiet side lately as I've been trying to break through some barriers…

Idea #4: Share something funny can really make your Facebook Video more viral and will be shared much more.

When I experience one of life’s humorous moments while on the go, I love making a quick video message to share and stand out. I use a neat little mobile app called Legend. With Legend, I can turn a quick photo into a video or GIF by adding some cool animation effects to it. The app has a bunch of different motion graphic line and text effects, with great color combos that make the video snappy.

You never know when the urge may come!

Idea #5: Share content as you go, document your journey, don’t wait to create a Picasso to share your video on Facebook

This idea comes from Gary Vaynerchuck. By nature, I’m one of those people that can easily get lost in time as the pure artist-creator. In other words, I love to create video and do a deep dive into the creative process from the clips selection to the effects, to the sound – the whole production.

However, especially for social video, where people just spin through their feed, you don’t need to create a George Lucas film. it’s not about the perfect creation, it’s about putting something out there where you are sharing the authentic you and doing it quickly, while in the moment.

This is what Gary means when he says “document, don’t create”. Document your journey, don’t miss the moments, and don’t sit in the studio being the artist or you may never deliver your masterpiece.

Idea 6: Do a LIVE Facebook or YouTube Video interview, town hall, or broadcast

LIVE video on Facebook and YouTube gets the most reach through the algorithm. There is no higher form of organic reach for video on Facebook than through LIVE video content.

So, do some interviews or other live broadcasts with content that is interesting, engaging and relevant for your audience.

And, the best part is that there is no post-processing editing required!

Idea 7: Create a list style YouTube Or Facebook video

The concept of “top 10” lists on YouTube has grown immensely popular. For example, look at Evan Carmichael’s channel where he features the wisdom of countless entrepreneur leaders, each with a top ten list feature.

People are attracted to see or listen to this kind of rapid-fire material for snackable consumption.
